About Wren

Music has always been a meaningful part of my life, and the piano became my primary way of expressing creativity. This passion led me to earn a Bachelor’s Degree in Piano Pedagogy and begin a teaching career focused on helping others discover the joy of music. Over the past 12 years, I have guided students of many ages and abilities.

My teaching philosophy centers on patience, encouragement, and individualized support. I understand that every student learns differently, so I adapt lessons to fit their pace and goals. Creating a comfortable environment helps learners develop confidence while improving their skills consistently.

When I am not teaching, I enjoy exploring new repertoire, attending performances, and studying different musical styles. These experiences keep my lessons fresh and inspiring. Helping students achieve their musical goals while developing a lifelong appreciation for piano remains one of the most fulfilling aspects of my profession.

About the lesson

My piano lessons are designed to balance technical development with musical enjoyment. Students work on note reading, hand coordination, rhythm accuracy, finger control, scales, and musical interpretation through clear and supportive instruction. I focus on creating a positive learning experience where progress feels achievable and rewarding.

As students develop, lessons expand into dynamics, phrasing, sight reading, chord understanding, accompaniment skills, and performance preparation. Activities are chosen carefully to match each learner’s goals and interests. Personalized guidance helps students improve steadily while maintaining enthusiasm for learning.

I encourage students to explore music with curiosity and confidence. Lessons are structured to develop both technical skills and expressive abilities, helping learners become well-rounded musicians. My goal is to help every student enjoy the process of making music while building lasting confidence at the piano.
