About Simon
I am a PE/Health teacher who has a Level 2 Cricket Coaching Accreditation.
I have played cricket for 25 years, mostly as a top order batsman who bowls every now and then. I have privately coached many players (one who plays in the Women’s IPL, Big Bash & State Level) as well as 2 senior clubs, resulting in 5 finals campaigns and 2 premierships over 7 years. I have predominantly played in Victoria but played a short stint in NSW and a very enjoyable season in WA. I will be coaching my home club this coming season, looking for a finals appearance and growth from our playing list.

My approach is based around fun, enjoyment and tailoring a game-plan, strategy or training session to suit the player. Too often, cricket is taught from a “one size fits all” approach which can cause a host of issues in the short-mid-long term. I love creating fearless, reflective cricketers who can’t wait for their next net session or match.
