About EHMARLYN

Hello! I am a Criminology graduate and a Social Studies major with a passion for teaching and helping students learn with confidence. I have experience in classroom teaching and lesson preparation, which has helped me develop patience, adaptability, and effective communication skills.

As a tutor, I aim to create a comfortable and supportive learning environment where students can freely ask questions and express their ideas. I believe that learning does not have to be stressful, it can be engaging, practical, and enjoyable.

I am committed to helping each student understand lessons at their own pace and reach their academic goals. Whether you need help with Social Studies, Araling Panlipunan, History, Government, or related subjects, I would be happy to guide you through your learning journey.

About the lesson

My approach as a tutor is to make lessons simple, engaging, and easy to understand. As a Criminologist and a Social Studies major, I enjoy connecting lessons to real-life situations, current events, and examples that students can relate to. I believe that students learn better when they feel comfortable asking questions and participating in the discussion.

I use a student-centered approach where I adjust my teaching style according to the student's level, learning pace, and needs. I may use discussions, examples, visual materials, short activities, practice questions, and interactive quizzes to make the lesson more enjoyable and effective.

A typical lesson starts with a short review of the previous topic, followed by an introduction to the new lesson. I explain the main concepts step-by-step, provide relatable examples, and encourage the student to ask questions. We then do practice activities or questions together before ending with a quick review to check their understanding.

What sets me apart is my background in both Criminology and Social Studies. I can bring different perspectives to lessons, especially when discussing society, history, government, law, crime, and current issues. I am patient, approachable, and willing to explain concepts in different ways until the student understands them.

My lessons are suitable for elementary, junior high school, senior high school, and college students who need support in Social Studies, Araling Panlipunan, History, Government, Civics, and related subjects. I can also provide general academic support depending on the student's needs.
