About Lilian
Hello!
Fiber arts have always held a special place in my heart. I first learned to knit in 4th grade, and ever since then, anything even slightly related to yarn has been a beloved hobby.
I learned to crochet 4 years ago, and now, as I graduate from high school, I'm spreading the 'granny hobby' frenzy to more people! It is an amazing ability to have; To be able to make any item you wish exactly how you have it in mind! With AI taking over everything, having an undeniably HUMAN skill holds more importance than you could imagine.
I am a very academically focused woman, going into astrophysics at the top school in the country. Crochet has always helped me relax (...sort of) and has brought me so much joy throughout the years. I am the president of a crochet club at my school, have run multiple tutoring lessons, and have even run an online tutoring event to raise money for women in Ghana!
All this to say, I am very capable of helping you with any questions you have about crocheting, and I refuse to see AI take over handmade work! Everybody is welcome over here, and hate of any kind is not allowed (if you care more about the color of one's skin and who they kiss over personality, then we cannot coexist, I fear).

If you're interested in starting to crochet, are a beginner who learns better with communication, a more skilled artist who wants to learn new techniques or just someone who wants to meet people in the community with similar interests, then please consider having me as your tutor!
I can teach everything about crochet, from many different techniques such as filet crochet, amigurumi, tapestry, lace, etc., to more technical skills of reading patterns, hook types, tension control and even where to find cheap supplies!
You simply tell me what you'd like to learn and your skill level, and I will create a lesson plan catered specifically to you (I refuse to use AI, so all of my plans have real-time bled into them, with great thought of common mistakes and what can be confusing at first!) I have taught many people to crochet in the past years--and I have yet to have a student fall out of love with the craft.
