I like walking people through a problem step by step to ensure they fully understand the concepts. Then I step back and have them solve a similar problem on their own. As a tutor I strongly believe in letting people work through a problem on their own after I have given hint. If they still do not understand I help them complete the problem. My main goal is to always make sure the student grasps the concept before moving on.
