Teaching Methodology and Techniques
My teaching approach focuses on building strong foundational understanding before moving into advanced problem solving. I believe students learn best when concepts are explained clearly, broken into manageable steps, and connected to real-life examples. Typical Lesson Plan
A typical lesson usually follows this structure:
Concept Review (5–10 min): Quick review of previous material or homework questions.
Concept Teaching (15–25 min): Clear explanation of the new topic using examples and step-by-step breakdowns.
Guided Practice (15–20 min): We solve questions together while I explain the thinking process.
Independent Practice (10–15 min): Student attempts questions while I provide support and feedback.
Summary & Next Steps (5 min): Review key ideas and assign optional practice for reinforcement.
