About Jess

I am Jess, I am studying my Masters in Computer Science and AI at the University of Keele. Even though, I left school 5 years ago now, I still can grasp how difficult it can be to get your head round certain topics and I want to tutor to ensure students have an aid to this problem. I have tutored privately and on other websites for nearly 2 years now and love it!

About the lesson

In my lessons, we will go through the information on the topic for half the lesson and then answer exam style questions and any queries the student may have in the other half. I like to use lots of different approaches like; videos, pictures, PowerPoint and flashcards in my lessons. I also do lessons on required practicals and learning the necessary information for them and also exam technique and answering exam questions.

Recommendations

Jess has tutored my son for a year now for his GCSEs. Jess’ approach to work has completely changed how my son does his revision making him far more efficient! Jess teaches topics very well in lots of detail and is very helpful if the student doesn’t understand. My son has gone up 3 grades since being tutored by Jess, I would highly recommend her!
