About Sophia
I achieved all A*s in my GCSEs (including Grade 9s in all sciences and further mathematics) and achieved an A* in my Maths A Level which I took a year early in Year 12. I have just completed my A Levels in Further Maths, History and Economics in which I am predicted 3 A*s. I have been tutoring for nearly two years and so I am fully experienced in tutoring all levels and capabilities. I am also fully adaptable to each individual student’s preferred style of learning. I am due to start my Economics Undergraduate Degree in September, and so I am happy to help students remotely as they prepare for their GCSE Maths examinations. I aim to pass on my love for the subject through engaging and confidence-boosting lessons to help students realise their capabilities in the subject.

Throughout my lessons, I aim to ensure that each student becomes more self-confident in their studies of mathematics, no matter their ability. I plan engaging lessons and resources around their specific GCSE curriculum and encourage them to bring forward any questions or key topics they may wish to focus on. I am a firm believer that practice makes perfect and through pinpointing their weaker topics, I am able to help students turn their weaknesses into strengths.
