About Katelyn
I am a senior at the University of Southern California majoring in Health and Human Sciences with a 3.8 GPA. I earned a 4.46 GPA in high school while taking all honors and AP math courses, consistently receiving straight As, with math being my strongest and favorite subject. I bring a professional, prepared, and patient approach to every session, and I am committed to helping students feel confident, supported, and capable in their math skills.

I focus on clear explanations, patience, and building real understanding rather than memorization. Each session starts by identifying the student’s goals, followed by step-by-step instruction and guided practice. I explain my reasoning as we work through problems so students understand why each step works, and I adapt my teaching style to fit individual learning needs. What sets me apart is my ability to simplify complex math and create a supportive, low-pressure environment. I tutor elementary school, middle school, and high school level math for homework help, exam prep, and strengthening core skills.
