Hello, my name is Esme and I’m looking to get started as a tutor for students who need some help with maths. I’m interested in tutoring any level at or below A-Level and A-Level equivalent and can travel to anywhere within Edinburgh city. My lessons would be 1 hour long each and would include a range of activities aimed at improving solving methods and confidence. I am more than happy to focus on key areas for each student as everyone has different strengths and weaknesses and from that point, I love to use visual aids and real-world examples when tutoring to hopefully make the learning more engaging and relatable and once the basic concepts are understood exam questions and solutions are such a great way to practise for the real thing. While I am new to tutoring, I have plenty of experience with the mathematics itself and studying for an exam. I think my understanding of the subject is justified by my exam results which are a grade 9 at GCSE and an A* at A-Level.
