About Isabella
I am 17 years old studying Biology, History, Media at A-level in year 12. I am hoping to pursue either a career in Biology or Law and aim to get a place at either King's College in London or UCL in London too. Science has always been my strongest subject academically, I easily understood tricky topics, applied them and saw great results consistently throughout secondary school which is seen in my success after receiving 9s in GCSE Biology, Chemistry, Physics. I aim to help students where Science isn't their strongest subject and help them achieve their own personal goals for their GCSEs as although top grades are great, not everyone aims for them, which is totally okay. I want to maximise every one of my student's potential pushing them to do their very best possible.

My lessons will be short and effective with a time of 30 to 1 hour, teaching only what is taught on the GCSE Science Specification for both combined and triple, so people from age 11 to 16 can benefit. I received 9s in Biology, Chemistry, Physics and am now studying Biology at A-level possibly hoping to pursue it further at university. My teaching methodology will be personalised based on the student's strengths and weaknesses. Aiming to not only ensure understanding, application but also solidifying the information into their long-term memory by discovering the student's preferred method of learning e.g. visual learning, using mnemonics. This method is most effective as it ensures the student can reach their maximum ability as older tutors often neglect this personalisation which however increases success rate by up to 3x.
