About Keerthana

In addition to my love for teaching, I also have the technical skills. I have done my bachelor's in digital media with a minor in digital technology. I have completed my master's program in digital media. I then worked as an intern for a digital marketing company, then got a full-time position as a UI/UX designer and now work as a professor. With this, I believe I am a well-rounded professional in this industry as well as experienced with sharing my knowledge. I can help with technical and provide guidance to those interested in pursuing a job in this industry.

About the lesson

As a tutor, I have a strong belief that hard work will always produce good results. As a professor I lead the class with both a lecture and demonstration of the project.

In terms of digital media courses. I strongly believe that practice makes perfect. I will provide project work that for students they may see in an industry setting, as I have been a UI/UX designer at a corporate level job for 2 years, I can provide real examples that I have seen during my time at this company. I will also provide lecture videos for the topics in the interest of the students that align with current digital media trends and concepts.

This is because sometimes people know what to do, but not why. The lecture videos will contain technical terms and steps as well as tips to make work easier and more efficient. I will also like to have demonstration for the project tasks.

As a tutor, I am passionate about seeing my students succeed. That is really why I love teaching. If I am able to help even one student gain an interest and motivation in this industry,
I can be proud of them and feel fulfilled myself knowing that I could help someone get a good job that they want and can develop the skills with their own hard work.

The level of my class can range from absolute beginner to industry level. I have been working with digital media concepts for years at different levels starting from high school to working on big company projects.

No matter if it is a high school assignment or if it is just guidance and assistance on a personal project in terms of help getting a project started or if there is any blockages, I would love to be a part of it.
