About Nilpawan
Learning has been boring for me ever since it became a Must-Do for me. But I was extremely curious and stubborn of a guy to just give up. And so I deviated towards concepts that were beyond my syllabus and my understanding. This led to me discovering joy in learning once again by rediscovering facts and ideas, breaking them down and understanding them at a much more fundamental level.
I wish to share my knowledge and experience with you hoping to help you become stubborn enough to not let learning become a chore. So instead of trying to put the blame on the system (like I used to), why not take a different approach to learning? Were you ever taught what a tangent really is? I wasn't. But that only made me want to learn everything about it. Not having something or not knowing something is what makes us want to reach it with our full power. So, why not cultivate that need?

As someone who has always found rote memorisation boring—and often forgotten formulas and definitions—I’ve naturally gravitated towards understanding the deeper meaning behind the concepts I learn.
My teaching approach is based on the same philosophy: I focus less on simply teaching students how to use a formula and more on helping them understand why it works and when it is useful.
Rather than expecting students to memorise formulas through endless practice, I encourage them to derive, rediscover, or reason their way towards them when possible. I believe that when you understand the need for a concept, remembering it becomes much more natural.
My classes are therefore centred around conceptual understanding, logical thinking, and problem-solving rather than rote learning.
