About Alex
I am a full time student, but currently have free time this semester. I have a great passion for Maths, Physics and Astronomy with an understanding up to Advanced Higher/A-level. I have a small amount of tutoring experience with being an ambassador at university where we go to local schools weekly to support students with any queries in their learning. I enjoy helping students learn and achieve their goals - I love sharing my knowledge with others and watching them grow. I believe learning should be fun and interactive, it’s not always boring!

I have a relaxed and open approach to teaching. I believe students learn best in an environment they feel comfortable in - there is no such thing as a silly question. I am here to help you, we will explore subject areas where you may lack some confidence. We will both work together towards a common goal!
Sometimes topics within Maths and Physics can be daunting but I am willing to make it more enjoyable. The first lesson will act as a diagnostic, it is about us understanding your strengths and weaknesses so we can plan to address them over time. I want to ensure you get the most out of our time together.
My teaching method is flexible to suit the needs of the student. Everyone has different techniques for learning: whether that be visual, auditory or reading/writing, however we will find the best technique for you, ensuring you fully understand and are confident within the topics.
