About Gabriel
I was not very fond of mathematics during my Middle-High School period, at least in comparison to this time, and till today it can be quite tormenting depending on the subject, meeting deadlines, and so forth. However, when you think of mathematics more as a tool that will enhance your ability to rationalize, concretely develop skills in problem-solving, and, quite frankly, a tool that will make you confident as a human being in life, mathematics is a gracious tutor in that. Not only will it humble you in your knowledge and understanding; but it will also inspire you to build concrete goals in life, especially if you are up to engage in STEM-related fields.

Repetition is, while the most obvious method in mathematics, the most essential technique in truly understanding what one is applying from what they are learning. When entering into Geometry, Trigonometry, and especially Calculus, what your perspective of mathematics was completely changes to a whole new language. From simple arithmetic to now using letters, this can become quite startling, let alone when one feels pressured to ruminate about memorizing formulas. The true method is by constant practice and application of the formula. One can be given a hammer, and analyze what material is each part of the hammer made out of, what each part is called, etc.; however, that is lamenting and time-consuming, to say the least, it is only when it is applied to its practical use to better understand its function. What sets me apart is that I would like to create a plan where we can analyze which subject within the field needs more prioritizing over other topics. From there we can start the subject, work on simple, yet short, introductory examples then focus on more challenging examples. This will boost confidence, build a roadmap on where they can start, and, most importantly, help the student rationalize. Getting into middle-high school-university mathematics, formulas are applied, of course, but there is more emphasis on 'thinking outside the box.'
