About Kaoru

A true ハリポタ世代 (Harry Potter generation), I can make lessons alive with pop culture like music, anime, manga. Not only that kind of things, JNPT and business speaking are also my professional field---That’s why I can flexibly customize the lesson based on your request. I have been engaged with teaching Japanese since my high school days. My first teacher experience was volunteer for Newcomer class in language center. Learning together with newcomers for 3 years; basically Hiragana, Katakana, Kanji and daily conversation. In my university days, I was a support teacher in International School; teaching culture and training for pronunciation. Letters in Japanese from students are one of the most precious things in my life.

About the lesson

Customized lesson based on first lesson. First lesson will be a kind of trial test. Making learning plan together for achieving your ideal goal. Basically, learning material is not text like Minna-no Nihongo (but, if you would like to do it for JLPT, of course, I will support you). I will choose more active material that you are interested in; music, movie, animation. (Ex.) Analyzing J-POP music lyrics, animation opening and ending, Speaking like voice actor (shadowing), flash card for expanding your vocabulary, daily conversation, speech contest… I hope my students to speak well-sophisticated Japanese with confidence. Please use Japanese as much as you can in class.
