About Brennan
I am going to be a freshman in college next year, studying physics and applied math at Davidson College. I love learning about physics and math, especially topics like calculus, and enjoy teaching them even more. I have tutored peers at my school and founded a club that teaches fellow students about math needed for engineering. I got a 36 on the ACT and I am also happy to help students understand good strategies for test taking.

I like to present students with problems that help to build a deep understanding of the topic. As we work through these problems, I like to explain the underlying concepts that make a solution work. Once the conceptual base is built, I help students refine their technical knowledge of the topic. This would be the basis of my lesson plans, tackling difficult problems in steps that make sense. This is primarily for high school student studying for AP Physics 1, AP Calculus AB, Precalculus, and the ACT.
