About Noah
I am a current Mechanical Engineering PhD student at the University of Bath, and my research is in the field of nuclear fusion. I hold a masters degree in Applied Mathematics from the University of Bath and a BSc in Mathematics (upper-second class honours) from King's College London.
During my undergraduate years I tutored a small group of GCSE students through the TeamUp charity, and have privately tutored a couple of A-level students since then. For the last three years I have assisted in undergraduate maths tutorials at the University of Bath.
I really enjoy maths, and I hope that I can inspire you to enjoy it too!

I love maths and the innumerable applications it has in the world around us, and I really enjoy enabling others to see it in the same way. I am very comfortable explaining mathematical concepts to people at different levels, and have experience of tutoring students from GCSE up to undergraduate level.
During the first lesson we will work together to identify areas in which you are less proficient and get an understanding of your mathematical confidence. Then I will prepare an appropriate series of problems that target the identified topics, to go through in the following tutorials. I will also keep a record of your progress, so that you can see how far you have come.
I am also happy to go through past papers with you, mark them, and return with feedback.
If you live within a 10-15 minute walk of my home address or the University of Bath, then I can offer in-person tuition.
