About Lavaniya

Hello students! My name is Lavaniya, and I have a background in teaching, communication, and student development. I hold a Master’s degree in Managerial Communication from Universiti Utara Malaysia and previously worked as a Lecturer at Cosmopoint College Melaka as well as a tutor at Brainworks Academy.

I enjoy teaching because I love helping students understand subjects in a simpler and more enjoyable way. I believe learning should not feel stressful or intimidating. Every student has their own learning pace, and my goal is to create a supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and improving confidently.

I want to teach because seeing students grow, gain confidence, and achieve better results gives me great satisfaction. I hope to inspire students to enjoy learning while helping them reach their academic goals.

About the lesson

My approach to tutoring is focused on creating a comfortable and supportive learning environment where students feel confident to ask questions and improve at their own pace.

Teaching Techniques & Methodology
- Explain concepts in a simple and easy-to-understand manner
- Use exercises, examples, and past-year questions for better understanding
- Encourage interactive learning instead of memorization
- Provide step-by-step guidance and continuous feedback
- Use visual aids and practical examples to make lessons more engaging
- Focus on strengthening weak areas while building confidence

- My lessons are usually between 1 to 2 hours, depending on the student’s level, attention span, and subject requirements.

Qualifications & Experience
- Master’s degree in Managerial Communication from Universiti Utara Malaysia
- have experience as a Lecturer at Cosmopoint College Melaka
- a tutor at Brainworks Academy, Melaka
