About Sophie

Holding a BSc Mathematics degree from the University of Ottawa, I draw lines on paper to visualize proofs. I spend my time helping senior-secondary and homeschool students navigate complex shapes. I track progress against clear goals to ensure results. Do you find these spatial relationships difficult to manage on your own?

About the lesson

Many students get lost when they try to memorize theorems without seeing the underlying logic. You will start our work with a short diagnostic to pinpoint exactly where your spatial reasoning falters.

We then isolate specific concepts like circle theorems or coordinate geometry. I walk through the core proof to ensure the concept is clear before we touch any practice problems.

From there, we move to high-level application to cement your command of 3D shapes and similarity. Expect regular feedback as we check your work against your goals.

I keep our time focused on genuine understanding rather than rote drilling. Success usually arrives within 1 term of this sustained, deliberate practice. Let us begin this journey toward clarity together.
