About Lisa
I start every journey with a mandatory diagnostic level test to assess your needs. This assessment identifies your specific gaps immediately. We focus on IELTS preparation, TOEFL preparation, and academic writing.
My 12 years of experience help me simplify complex phrasal verbs and idioms. We use reading comprehension exercises to build your speed. You will practice listening comprehension to sharpen your ear.
We will also perform exam speaking practice to reduce your anxiety. My approach remains steady and clear throughout our time together. You can expect a supportive environment for all your tasks. I aim to keep our process simple and effective.

Holding a Bachelor of Education in Second Language Teaching from York University gives me a formal foundation for our work. I address you directly because your success in English depends on clear guidance. My childhood in Lyon shaped my understanding of what it means to live in a new culture.
I have worked in English for many years while helping newcomers settle into their new lives. I teach from a place of personal experience with the challenges of language acquisition.
