About Elnaz
Hi, I’m Elnaz, a friendly and patient maths tutor. I understand that every student learns differently, so I adapt my lessons to each student’s needs, level, and learning style. My aim is not only to help students improve their maths skills, but also to build their confidence and make maths feel less stressful.
In my lessons, I usually begin by checking what the student already understands and identifying any areas they find difficult. I then explain the topic step by step using simple language, clear examples, and practice questions. I encourage students to ask questions at any time, and I make sure they feel comfortable even when they make mistakes, because mistakes are an important part of learning.
A typical lesson includes a short review of previous work, a clear explanation of the new topic, guided practice, independent questions, and feedback at the end. I can also help with homework, exam preparation, problem-solving skills, and revising difficult topics.
My teaching style is calm, supportive, and personalised. I focus on helping students understand the reason behind each method, rather than just memorising steps. This helps them become more confident, independent, and prepared for future lessons and exams.
My goal is to create a positive learning environment where students feel encouraged, supported, and motivated to improve.
