About Giulia

I have always been passionate about languages and travelling and I do believe that being able to speak the language of the place you are visiting makes the whole experience much richer, more authentic and fun. I started learning English from primary school and went on to studying French and German at high school and then graduated in English and Spanish (language and literature) at university while moving to live in London where I have been for the past 15 years. I also left my comfort zone of European languages and attended an Arabic course, which was very interesting and fun, but challenging! My experience in teaching ranges from schoolchildren needing a hand with their homework to university students struggling to pass their exams to older people wanting to learn or improve a language for business or leisure. Regardless of their age and purpose for learning a language, I always encouraged my students to go beyond the textbooks and grammar exercises and to put their new skills to the test from the beginning of the learning process. Grammar rules are necessary, but useless if you are afraid to communicate, so don't be shy and let's get talking! University : - Università degli Studi di Bergamo - Foreign languages and literature
