About Wages
With 9 years of professional teaching experience, I am a committed Saxophone tutor who has guided nearly 150 students through different stages of learning. I believe patience and understanding are essential for effective music education.
My teaching style is patient, clear, and understanding-focused. I take time to explain each concept in simple language and ensure students are comfortable before moving forward. Lessons focus on breath control, tone development, finger accuracy, rhythm practice, and musical reading.
I also introduce basic music theory and listening exercises to help students understand music beyond notes. This improves confidence and helps students play with better control and expression.
What makes my teaching unique is my calm and reassuring approach, especially for beginners and hesitant learners. My goal is to help students feel relaxed, confident, and motivated while learning the saxophone.

I follow a teaching methodology for saxophone that combines adaptability, collaboration, and a positive learning environment. Every student has a unique approach to learning, and I tailor lessons to their pace, style, and musical goals using visual aids, demonstration, and practical exercises.
Flexibility ensures lessons evolve with the student’s progress, interests, and motivation, keeping learning engaging and productive. Collaboration encourages students to actively participate in their musical journey, experiment with improvisation, and share ideas, which strengthens both technical ability and creativity.
I maintain a positive and supportive atmosphere where achievements are recognised, and challenges are treated as opportunities for growth. Lessons include saxophone technique, performance skills, improvisation, musical interpretation, and theory, providing a comprehensive foundation for musical development.
In addition to saxophone, I teach music theory, sight-reading, ear training, and ensemble performance. My goal is to nurture confident, expressive musicians who love and enjoy music.
