About Aurora
I am a violin tutor with over 6 years of experience and a Bachelor of Music in Composition (Violin Focus), specializing in creative and contemporary violin styles. I teach Jazz, Rock, Hip-Hop Strings, and World Music. My lessons focus on improvisation, looping pedals, and expressive live performance techniques.
Students learn to compose solos, adapt popular songs, and experiment with tone and texture. I help them combine classical skills with modern performance tools. Beginners and advanced students are encouraged to explore their creativity fully.
Lessons integrate live looping, effects, and expressive composition. Students develop confidence, imagination, and personal style. Each session encourages experimentation and musical growth. Let’s explore the violin beyond tradition and into new creative territories.

I teach violin with a focus on building rapid sight-reading skills. Students practice ledger lines, complex rhythms, and multi-part scores systematically. Lessons develop strong visual-to-finger coordination for accurate and confident playing.
Students learn to anticipate notes, recognize patterns, and read music smoothly. Exercises are paired with real musical pieces to reinforce learning. Playing new pieces becomes quicker and more natural.
I support performers in musicals, worship, and ensemble settings. Beginners strengthen fundamentals, and advanced students refine speed and accuracy. Lessons include constructive feedback and focused repetition.
Students gain independence and fluency. They leave able to sight-read music confidently. Together, we make new pieces feel instantly playable.
