About Joanne
Hi! I'm Joanne; I am a dedicated tutor who has received offers from Russell Group universities to study Dentistry and Pharmacy.
I am currently offering GCSE/AS Biology, Chemistry and KS1/2 /GCSE/AS level Math.
Having received 9s in these subjects and attained high grades in my AS levels, I feel confident in passing on my knowledge.
I have 4 years worth of experience as a maths mentor teaching students within my school and have thoroughly enjoyed helping students reach their full potential and rediscover the fun of maths.
I have passed all my dentistry and pharmacy interviews, so I am also well-equipped to help students succeed in their own interview preparations.

I take a holistic approach and help my students beyond just the subject matter but with revision advice and exam technique which is another critical skillset.
Firstly, it is important to discuss with the student their difficulties with the chosen subject so I can prepare a personalised plan for future lessons.
Secondly, tailored to the student I can teach content in a simple manner and then help practice by tackling exam questions.
