About Hyojeong

Design Experience

I have over 6 years of experience as a UX/UI Designer. I have in-depth knowledge of the UX Design process, including conducting research (user interviews, user surveys, competitive analysis, and product research) and creating personas, site maps, user flows, task flows, wireframes, prototypes, and conducting user testing. I have experience working with engineers, product managers, and executives to deliver high-quality products. I have knowledge of Figma, FigJam, Sketch, Miro, Maze, and other design software. Throughout my career, I have worked with diverse clients and projects such as Hyperloop, Ferrara Candy Company, and Pfizer, ranging from mobile applications to dashboard platforms. By employing atomic design principles, I have built design systems that provide cohesive and scalable solutions.

About the lesson

Hi, I'm Hyo! I'm passionate about helping designers learn how to improve their design, design thinking, and research skills, and design more effective solutions through hands-on learning. I am enthusiastic about providing designers with feedback to help improve their designs and user research and improve their design process.

Teaching Experience

I have more than 4 years of experience in tutoring and teaching at both the K-12 and university levels. I worked as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at UT Austin, where my responsibilities included assisting students in overcoming design challenges to learn UX Methodology and create high-quality prototypes. Additionally, I obtained a teaching certificate in art/design 8 years ago and worked as an instructor to help students gain admission to art school.
