About Conor

I am a native Irish speaker who is passionate about languages and spreading the Irish culture and language authentically to learners of all levels! I specialise in teaching adults and I also hold a TESOL certificate, which I put into practice while teaching English to adults in a Parisian private school.

My teaching approach also includes an immersion into the culture, and I am happy to share music and film recommendations all with a focus on how that will help you learn!

About the lesson

I focus on the relationship between the student and teacher and make sure that the lesson is a place where they can ask me anything about the Irish language! All topics are possible! It's not just an Irish language lesson, but a cultural lesson! My style consists of building confidence in conversation, while also making sure the student has a strong base in grammar so they can continue to feel confident outside of lessons. Each lesson is completely adapted to the student and I will focus on all aspects, from grammar, oral and conversation to writing, all will be covered!
