My rates are flat, regardless of level, purely because I don't think the amount of work it takes from me should vary dependent on how far into their musical development the student is. My concern is with teaching you to the best of my ability, whether it's first steps or first thousand steps.

With regards to cancellation, I have the luxury of a very open schedule as it stands, so (while day before is preferred so I can allocate the time elsewhere), you can cancel on me with however much notice, move things around freely, it's all very open. If, for whatever reason, I have to cancel, we just move the lesson, or I refund you as fits. It's all pretty standard.
