"Teaching guitar allows me to share the rhythms that defined my 13 years performing in the Australian Latin music scene. I hold a Diploma of Music from JMC Academy and carry the energy of the Cuban trova tradition into every single interaction. Sometimes I find myself explaining complex barre chords or scales while humming a son melody just because the music feels right that way. My work connects with advanced learners, hobbyists, teens, and kids who want to grow as musicians.
These sessions rely on the 13 years of experience I gained gigging across the country. I have taught countless students across various styles including lead guitar and acoustic technique. Reading sheet music and tabs is a big part of what we do together. Improvisation and soloing become natural once you understand the fretboard architecture properly.
Tuning and maintenance are simply the foundations of a good sound. You will find my teaching style to be as authentic as my roots."
