About Khadeeja
As a dedicated and passionate tutor, I’m here to help students build confidence and succeed in their studies. I’m currently a TESL student, trained in teaching English as a second language, and work with students ages 7-17. I focus on making learning fun, engaging, and personalized to each student’s needs.
Whether your child is looking to improve their grades, boost language skills, or gain confidence, I create a supportive environment where they can thrive. I focus on creating an engaging and fun learning environment for students, ensuring that they stay interested while mastering the material. My approach blends interactive activities, practical examples, and creative exercises to make sure lessons are both enjoyable and effective. I also prioritise tailoring lessons to each student's learning style, which helps them stay motivated and get the most out of their sessions.
My teaching methodology & techniques:
- Interactive and Engaging: I incorporate games, discussions, and activities that relate to the students' interests to keep them motivated.
- Adaptable: I customise lessons to meet each student's needs and learning style, using a mix of visual, auditory, and hands-on techniques.
- Real-World Applications: I try to connect what students are learning to real-world situations to help them see the relevance of what they’re studying.
- Scaffolding: I build on what students already know and gradually increase the difficulty to ensure confidence and mastery.
- Lessons typically last 2 hours, which allows enough time to cover material, engage in interactive activities, and review what was learned.
- I am currently a TESL (Teaching English as a Second Language) student, which has provided me with a strong foundation in language instruction, pedagogy, and student-centered teaching techniques.
My lessons are designed for students aged 7 to 17, covering a wide range of subjects, with a focus on elementary to high school-level material.
- I work with students who are looking to improve their academic performance, build confidence, or simply enjoy learning in a more relaxed environment.
