About Amedeo

I graduated from the University of Toronto with a Bachelor of Commerce, earning High Distinction and the University’s Silver Medal for academic excellence. My strength has always been quickly grasping complex ideas—but what truly sets me apart is my ability to explain the why behind them. I believe students don’t need more memorization—they need clarity, connection, and real understanding.

That belief shapes the way I teach Accounting, Finance, and Economics. I focus on breaking down concepts, showing how they interconnect, and helping students apply them with confidence in exams and beyond.

As someone who speaks four languages, I’ve seen how mastery comes not from repetition but from understanding how systems work. I bring that same mindset into my tutoring, equipping students with lasting skills they can build on for academic and professional success.

Perfect! 11/10! Amadeo is the most knowledgable person I have ever met in accounting. And he really takes this knowledge and makes it easy for you to understand. If you don't, don't worry because he'll stay with you until you fully and completely do. It's so helpful and exciting when you stop blindly following what your professor told you and everything actually makes sense. My test marks increased SO much due to his help. Bottom line, this is your guy if you are struggling in accounting, no matter your major or background.

I was in the same program at the University of Toronto (Rotman Commerce) as Amedeo and since we were also both in the same specialization we had common classes. Amedeo was my go-to person to ask questions for a few reasons: his warm and friendly vibes made me feel so comfortable and not judged which I found rare at UofT, he explained concepts in such a way that I hadn’t thought of before which wow-d me so I admired his abilities, and he was very genuine and personable in his responses as well which made me connect with the concepts I struggled with better. He is also a great mentor as I’ve seen working with him at the same firm!
