About Shreeta
My passion for science and math led me to purse a Bachelors in Chemistry, a MS in Organic Chemistry and a PhD in Biochemistry. I enjoyed both research and teaching and have even written book chapters in Biochemistry. After homeschooling my children, it made perfect sense to pursue a teaching career more seriously. So, I taught undergraduate courses at University and HS Chemistry, Math and Biology classes.
Right now, I enjoy tutoring AP Chemistry students, while preparing them to ace the AP exam. College level General and Organic chemistry are also my strengths. I am committed to student success and understand that it can be achieved by patience and perseverance. I have heard from parents that students look forward to their tutoring sessions with me.

In order to reach a diverse population of students, I tutor online, one-on-one sessions, flexible schedules and a very interactive and engaging style to ensure student success. Students may provide materials if they have any, however, I use a variety of resources (videos, and online textbooks) to make the concepts clear, provide examples, and plenty of practice for a complete tutoring experience.
My area of expertise is Chemistry: basic to graduate level, serving students from HS to University. Since, Math is an essential component of Chemistry, I am very comfortable teaching Algebra 1&2, Geometry and Trignometry as well.
