About Isla
You arrive at our first session ready to play some chords. We start by assessing your current technique and your goals for improvement. My BM in Guitar from Concordia University provides a solid foundation for our technical work. We move through strumming patterns while discussing music theory.
I cater to intermediate learners and those seeking a structured path. I lean on 13 years of experience to solve your specific challenges. We look at blues progressions to expand your vocabulary. My goal is to bridge the gap between your current level and your musical ambition.

I hold a BM in Guitar from Concordia University. My practice is grounded in the tradition of songwriters like Charlebois.
I teach acoustic technique and complex blues progressions with equal care. My experience covers everything from electric solos to intricate improvisation.
I provide structure for those who feel lost in their self-taught journey. I also enjoy working with kids who are just starting out. Intermediate learners find my approach helpful for theory and rhythm.
It is a joy to share these 13 years of knowledge with others. I love the guitar.
