About Marylou
"You likely wonder how a 13-year career informs the way I teach guitar. My journey started long ago, eventually leading me to my Artist Diploma in Music Performance from Nanyang Technological University.
I integrate music theory, reading sheet music, and tuning and maintenance into our workflow. We cover power chords, ear training, rhythm guitar, improvisation and soloing, and fingerpicking. My experience allows me to pivot quickly based on what keeps you moving forward. I am confident we can refine your playing."

"Struggling to find the right chord shapes often prevents you from enjoying the instrument. I break down these barriers by focusing on the fundamentals during our 6.0 hour total curriculum. You receive free chord charts and tab sheets shared after each class to assist your practice. My 13 years of experience influence how I structure these sessions.
