About Naomi
Do you struggle with muddy chords or lack of speed during lead guitar solos? I address these technical hurdles by focusing on mechanical efficiency. Ear training is a regular feature of my lessons. We use monthly recorded review of progress to track your development.
My background in music theory helps clarify complex fretboard patterns. I keep my approach consistent and clear.

Strings vibrate under my fingers as I demonstrate the precise pressure required for clean chord transitions. I combine my BMus training with 13 years of teaching experience to support 148 students.
My instruction covers everything from electric technique to the intricacies of blues progressions. I regularly work with kids, teens, and hobbyists who want to understand the instrument deeply. Improvisation and soloing become approachable once you master the scales and modes I teach.
Songwriting and reading sheet music are integrated into my curriculum to build well-rounded musicians. My teaching remains firmly rooted in the technical standards I learned during my time at the UBC School of Music.
