About Olivia

I believe in really getting to know my students as well as their needs, goals, strengths and weaknesses. I believe in letting you have some say, also, in your lessons. I don’t believe in endless drilling and bookwork. That is a piece of cake for anyone to facilitate, and a surefire way to see a noticeable decline in drive and interest. I love what I do! Me encanta la lengua española/castellana. I feel my job is to help you understand the language and provide you the tools to properly and effectively communicate on your own. Everyone has different tastes, interests, and motivations. Tell me about yours and instead of knowing Spanish, let me help you learn to speak it.

About the lesson

Me llamo Olivia and I speak Spanish fluently. I studied Spanish from 11 years-old all the way to university, travelled extensively through Mexico and Peru, and lived and worked in Barcelona, Spain for 6+ years. I have first-hand experience of what it is to be a student. I have always been passionate and intrigued by Hispanic culture and the Spanish language. Speaking Spanish fluently is an immensely valuable skill that breaks barriers both socially and professionally.
