About Ellie

Hi! I'm a Rose Bruford-trained actor (BA Acting) with professional experience in theatre, voiceover, poetry, and writing — and I specialise in preparing actors for drama school auditions in a way that’s honest, empowering, and tailored to you.

I work especially well with neurodivergent actors, creating a laid-back, funny and deeply supportive space where you can feel safe enough to be vulnerable, expressive, and fully yourself. Auditioning can feel intense — but together we’ll find a process that feels personal, exciting and genuinely fun.

About the lesson

Before we begin, we'll have a free consultation to chat through any worries, access needs, or goals you have — no pressure, just a chance to connect and make sure you're feeling good about what’s ahead. Each session is tailored to you.
We can work on a wide range of things depending on where you are in your audition journey:
Monologue Discovery & Prep – I can come prepared with tailored monologue suggestions and plays based on your needs and personality. Text & Character Work – Together we’ll explore the core desire of the character, unlock the honesty in the piece, and do exercises that help you connect emotionally and truthfully.
️ Voice & Movement – Light warm-ups to get you grounded, in your body, and present in the room.
Shakespeare Support – From breaking down verse and translating lines to building confidence with classical text.
🪑 Table Work – Tools and behind-the-scenes approaches to deepen your relationship with the character and context.
Nerves & Confidence – Learn to use nerves rather than fear them; we’ll speak openly about what’s coming up and work through it together.
My goal is to make this process feel supportive, empowering, and fun, so that you leave each session feeling clearer, braver, and more yourself.
