About Ivan
I am an overseas Architecture graduate who started to rekindle my high school calligraphy lessons. Since 2016, I began to write down words that come across my mind onto origami paper (or whatever's around). Over time, I have developed my own unique styles out of the basic blackletter conventions.

In this age, expression is important for one's development. Everyone has a unique thing that they want to bring to the table. Knowing this, I believe one must know the rules before crafting them to your liking. And trust me the crafting part is extremely fulfilling especially when you take standards into account.
We start with a little conversation to get some glimpse into our intentions with calligraphy. Then we can select the blackletter style we want to adapt.
We follow with some standard spacing and hand position drills and memetic exercises. We will then combine letters we learned to form words and explore basic flourishing.
