About Carla
Living abroad and returning home after 8years
I am with New eyes in the place I was born, Liverpool. I have experienced and appreciate the deeply rooted traditions of Balinese yoga. As well as the precision and energetic approach Aussies take to life and fitness down under .
Over the last 10years well-being and fitness has been an intrinsic part of my lifestyle.
I have learned a lot of things about myself during lockdown. I pride myself on finding balance in all aspects of my life. I love helping others become the best version of themselves (through exercise and fitness) and I love raising my 3 year old daughter, Kenya. She is the reason I wake up each morning, the reason I breathe… and why my house is a mess & I am crazy.
The biggest thing about me is that I am very independent and unashamed. I am quirky (in a good way) and fun to be around. My partner would describe me as a person who is dedicated to people and my passions especially in different areas of well-being.
I believe yoga alongside gym based exercise is an excellent balance combining stress relief and flexibility with strength training
My style of teaching suits all levels of participants.

I believe yoga alongside other forms of fitness including cardio , resistance training , swimming can help achieve the best physique and performance. So there are four ways I approach yoga which can be customised dependent on the client. Yoga as a restorative workout which helps reduce soreness after high intensity exercise or weight training. It benefits also by maximising muscle growth.
Secondly yoga as a warm up can helps avoid injury and prepare you to maximise any additional training workout. I offer yoga as a stand alone workout which last minimum 30min and max 1hr 30min . Ashtanga of of the more challenging style of yoga is physical demanding and includes more challenging postures such as planks, balancing postures and warriors to hatha a much more slower more fluid style of yoga. And finally yoga to compliment a morning or evening workout which I focus on deep restorative stretches allowing you to become fully relaxed.
