About Lily

I am currently on a gap year, working in a nursery. I left college with all Distinction grades and a Level 3 in Children’s Play, Learning and Development. I started my first babysitting job when I was 15 years old and have loved it ever since.

About the lesson

I like to ask my students questions to help them develop new ideas and understanding. I also follow the ‘Plan, do, review’ cycle which allows me to change my teaching methods depending on how well a student understands a topic, and can adapt around their needs.

Typically I would start a lesson off recapping past information, then I would give new information, doing knowledge checks along the way. I would then finish the lesson with an assessment or an evaluation, to then plan for my next session.
