About Henry

I am currently completing my EASA ATPL licence at one of Europe's leading integrated flight schools, where I have achieved a 95% average across my exams. This means my theoretical knowledge is up to date and well beyond PPL level, while I still remember exactly what it was like to learn as a new private pilot.

About the lesson

I take a practical, student-focused approach to tutoring, explaining topics in the same straightforward way. Having completed my own UK CAA PPL theory at the age of 15 before receiving my licence at 18 through a small flying club in Essex, I understand that PPL students aren't looking for airline-level theory—they need clear explanations that relate directly to flying light aircraft and passing their exams.
My goal is to make the theory feel logical and relevant rather than overwhelming, whether that's running through difficult concepts in a way that tailors it to your experiences to make it manageable, or by running through calculations and equations I know you need for your exams and general flight training.
Lessons are typically 60 minutes and are delivered online. They can focus on a complete subject or simply an area you're finding difficult, whether that's Navigation, Meteorology, Air Law, Flight Performance, Human Performance, Principles of Flight, Aircraft General Knowledge or Operational Procedures. I'm also happy to help with exam preparation and revision before your CAA or EASA PPL theory exams.
My lessons are aimed at UK CAA and EASA PPL students of any age who would like extra support alongside their flying training. Whether you're just starting your theory, preparing for an exam, or have one topic that's proving difficult, I'll tailor each lesson to your individual needs and learning style.
