About Antonella

Module of 6 weeks 2 hours a week or 1 hour a week

One-to-one session available

My goal for you is to develop a ground-breaking system that will get you speaking and understanding the language you've always loved, no matter how old you are, or what your current Italian speaking ability is.

About the lesson

We will speak in the target language and use teaching aids to help you understand. Emphasis is on spoken communication and interaction; this is achieved through pair and group work, simulations and role-plays, and is supported by systematic work on grammar, vocabulary and pronunciation.

Course content:

During the course you will learn how to:

@ Ask and answer simple questions on familiar topics, including travel, tourism, meeting new people, your life and your work.
@ Interact with native speakers, recognising familiar words and phrases concerning you, your family your immediate surroundings and the topics outlined above.
@When reading, understand common names, words and simple sentences, for example on notices and posters or in text messages.
@Write short emails, for example sending holiday greetings, making a request, or inviting someone to something.
@Fill in forms with personal details, such as your name, nationality and address on a hotel registration form.
@Understand and use a selection of key grammar points.
