About Sara
I am a Ph.D. student in Economics with a strong academic background and over three years of experience tutoring university students. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, a Teaching Diploma, and a Master’s degree in Applied Economics, which allow me to combine deep subject knowledge with effective teaching skills.
I currently work as a Teaching Assistant at Concordia University, where I support students through tutorials, coursework, and exam preparation. I am patient, organized, and attentive to each student’s needs, and I always prepare in advance to ensure sessions are productive and aligned with course requirements.
My goal is to create a supportive and professional learning environment where students feel comfortable, confident, and well guided.

I offer personalized one-on-one tutoring in economics, econometrics, statistics, and mathematics, with over three years of experience in private tutoring and university teaching support. As a Ph.D. Economics student and Teaching Assistant, I assist undergraduate and graduate students in courses including microeconomics, macroeconomics, econometrics, probability, and mathematics for economics.
My teaching focuses on simplifying complex concepts through clear, step-by-step explanations and guided problem-solving, tailored to each student’s course requirements and learning pace. Lessons are goal-oriented, whether for exam preparation, assignments, or coursework support.
I offer online sessions using a tablet for interactive explanations. In-person lessons at Concordia University are offered with no additional fees; other locations are available with travel fees.

Thanks, Sara!Sara and I took nearly all our graduate courses together at Concordia—I'm in the MA program and she's a PhD candidate. She's one of the smartest people I know, with exceptional skills in math, stats, and economics. What makes her special is her ability to break down complex ideas simply, creating those 'oh, okay!' moments in minutes. She's incredibly organized, always prepared, and makes learning both effective and enjoyable. Whatever subject you need help with, Sara's your go-to!
