About Jasper
My name is Jasper, and I’m an Economics undergraduate at the University of Exeter with over two years’ experience as a tutor. I achieved A grades at A-Level in both Maths and Economics, as well as a grade 9 at GCSE Maths, and I now study Economics at degree level.
Alongside my studies, I’ve supported students across primary and secondary school, helping them to build confidence, improve understanding, and achieve stronger academic results. I take a professional and reliable approach to tutoring, preparing thoroughly for lessons and tailoring my support to each student’s needs.
Recently, I helped two GCSE Maths students progress from grade 5 to predicted grade 9 through structured, targeted tuition. I’m committed to providing high-quality support that helps students feel confident, capable, and well-prepared for their exams.

My lessons are structured, focused, and adapted to the individual student. I begin by identifying gaps in understanding, then break topics down step by step before moving on to practice questions and exam-style problems.
For Maths, lessons focus on building strong foundations, improving problem-solving skills, and developing confidence with exam questions. For Economics, I focus on clear explanations, real-world examples, and exam technique to help students apply their knowledge effectively.
Most lessons last 60 minutes, with longer sessions available when appropriate, particularly in the lead-up to exams. I make sure that my lessons are interactive, with students encouraged to explain their thinking and ask questions throughout.
