About Megan
I am Megan, I am currently on maternity leave having been assistant principal for behaviour at a school in Lowestoft for 3 years and prior to that I was head of year (KS4 year groups) in Norwich. In both schools I have taught French and Spanish to GCSE level. I have a first class honours degree from Roehampton University having studied Modern Languages there including some translation and linguistics modules. I also got to study at the Université d’Angers and Universidad de Nebrija in Madrid as part of my year abroad. After this, I completed my PGCE secondary at the UEA.

I have now taught across 3 specifications, both Spanish and French and this year whilst on maternity leave have become an Edexcel examiner marking both the writing and speaking examinations, meaning I am confident with the requirements of the new specification. I am a non-native speaker so appreciate how hard learning a second language is, and having been a head of year for year 11 twice I can support students with revision tips to enhance their studies further.
