About Ailidh
I am an English Literature MA (Hons) graduate from the University of Edinburgh with A-levels in Psychology, Spanish, Philosophy & Ethics and English Literature.
I have an evident passion for all of these subjects, which is clear in my encouraging and enthusiastic approach. My background in psychology, and previous experience teaching in both the UK and Sri Lanka enhances my teaching techniques, facilitating an approach which is both flexible and can be tailored to suit the student's requirements and learning preferences.
My tutoring approach focuses on giving explanations and guidance, so that the student can gain an understanding and develop their own ideas to produce their own work. I have a professional, yet friendly and approachable demeanour and excellent communication skills.
My qualifications? GCSE - 6 A's 3 A*, A Level - A*AA, MA HONS English Literature 2:1 (68/100), my dissertation is published and available to buy on Amazon.
