About Sandra
I have over ten years experience as an Education Assistant and Academic Coach (Tutor) supporting students in both public and Catholic school boards from kindergarten up to high school level in all subjects including Language Arts and Math. I also have a Certificate in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) and, experience in tutoring students in person and virtual learning. My teaching methodology includes: using formative assessments to monitor my students' progress and learning; writing and presenting progress reports and, learning modifications to accommodate students' learning needs. In addition, I use interactive learning activities to engage students and create a fun learning environment. Some interactive learning activities include videos and gamification such as Roll the Dice and other relevant games and/or activities.
