About the lesson

Education:
GCSE English (A) and Maths (B).
Three A levels in Psychology (B), Philosophy and Ethics Studies (B) and English Literature (B), also an AS level in Theatre Studies.
BSc degree in Psychology (BPS accredited) at a high 2:1.
Starting a MSc in Research Methods in Psychology at Reading University this September (2016).

Work Experience:
Student Coach at Reading College, supporting students aged 16-20 years with additional needs. Mostly supported in GCSE mathematics classes.
Play-worker for Energy Kidz holiday and after school club. Working with children aged 4-11.
One month placement at a primary school working as a teaching assistant in classes ranging from foundation (4/5 years old) to year six.
Regular voluntary work at a local primary school for the past six years.

It is my aim to provide help and support for those who feel they need it, and to guide those who are struggling. I am a very patient and kind person, who understands the importance of meeting every individual learners needs.
I am confident working with all age groups between 4-18 years, have completed safeguarding courses for children, adolescents and vulnerable adults. and hold a current DBS certificate.

Teaching Levels:
All levels of Mathematics up to GCSE grade A
All levels of Psychology up to A-level grade A/A*
I am also able to tutor for essay/report writing skills, such as grammar/sentence structure etc.
