About Brittany

Hi, I'm Brittany!
A qualified educator with over a decade of experience working with children in education, child care and as a party and event entertainer.

I hold a Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and a Certificate IV in Education Support and I’ve worked in schools supporting students with a wide range of needs - including ASD, ADHD, intellectual disabilities, and children who simply need a bit of extra support to thrive.

I offer one-on-one and small group tutoring for primary-aged students, as well as school readiness support for preschoolers. Sessions are available after school and over the school holidays.

I currently work full-time in a primary school supporting students from grade prep to 6.

About the lesson

My numeracy sessions are personalised to each child, whether they’re building confidence with number basics or tackling more advanced problem-solving.

Each new student begins with a free meet and greet/assessment session. This is a chance for us to build a connection, chat about interests and see where they're at with their learning.

Here’s what a typical numeracy session might include:
- Hands-On Activities using concrete materials to build strong number sense.
- Breaking Down Concepts into small, manageable steps.
- Problem Solving & Reasoning skills with real-world examples.
- Maths Games to make learning fun and interactive.
- Strategies to build fluency, confidence, and independent thinking.
- Tailored to each child and their learning style.

Whether it’s siblings, classmates or individual support, I tailor each session to suit the student’s needs and make learning feel fun and engaging.

Extra "homework" can be provided upon request.
